“All right, I have caught the bug! I don't know why it has taken me so long, since I love children's books and have many in my own personal library. But teaming up with my new storytelling partner, Mary Beth Magee, to tell more and more stories with puppets has inspired me to create new puppet shows and children's books. Be sure to check out my Theatre Arts page to see more puppet pictures!"

The Porcupine & the Pig: A fable told with puppets
Storytelling is as old as time, and storytelling with puppets is a delight for all ages.
When two critters meet in the woods, they are at first wary of one another, because of what “everyone” says about both porcupines and pigs. But once they get past their initial fears, they realize they have a lot more in common than not—which is a great place to start a new friendship!
Illustrated with photos of The Everyman Puppet Theatre production of this puppet play, The Porcupine & the Pig also contains instructions on how to make a simple, portable puppet stage and suggestions for making paper plate rod puppets with which to dramatize any story.
